Dear esteemed leaders, supporters, and citizens of Ilesa West Local Government,
I am overwhelmed with joy and gratitude as I write to express my sincere appreciation to each and every one of you who contributed to my success in the just concluded local government election. Your unwavering support, trust, and confidence in me are the reasons I stand here today as the newly elected executive chairman of Ilesa west local government.
To His Excellency, Asiwaju Sen. Dr. Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke, Executive Governor of Osun State,I extend my deepest gratitude for your guidance and leadership. Your vision for our great state is inspiring, and I am committed to working tirelessly to ensure our local government aligns with your exemplary leadership.
I also want to thank Hon. Gbenga Onigbogi, Chairman Governing Council, University of Ilesa, for his invaluable support. Your institution’s commitment to excellence is a beacon of hope for our community, and I look forward to collaborating with you to drive development in our local government.
To Sunday Bisi, the Osun State Party Chairman, I am deeply grateful for your leadership, mentorship and support throughout my political journey. Your selfless dedication to our party’s growth and development is inspiring.
To our distinguished Senators and House of Representative members embodying Osun State, I thank you for your support, , wisdom and firm commitment to the well-being of our citizens.
To Hon. Ibukun Ishola Fadipe, IBK, Chairman of Osun SUBEB, I appreciate your dedication to education and human development.I can boldly say you gave us the platform we’re all enjoying today and your efforts have positively impacted our community, and I am eager to work with you to further enhance the lives of our citizens.
My sincere thanks also go to Alhaji Mudashiru Lawal, PDP Local Government Party Chairman, for his tireless efforts in mobilizing support for my candidacy. Your leadership and commitment to our party’s ideals are commendable.

As your newly elected chairman, I promise to:
– Improve Infrastructure: Focus on developing rural roads, modernizing markets, and upgrading public utilities to enhance access to services and markets.
– Enhance Education: Renovate and upgrade schools, provide modern learning materials, and train teachers to improve the quality of education.
– Boost Healthcare: Construct new primary healthcare centers, upgrade existing ones with modern medical equipment, and offer free maternal and child healthcare.
– Empower Youth and Women: Introduce skill acquisition and entrepreneurship programs, collaborate with the private sector to create job opportunities, and promote women’s empowerment through access to credit loans, agricultural and vocational training.
– Foster Unity and Harmony: Promote inter-community engagements, celebrate cultural diversity, and ensure equal treatment of all communities in Ilesa West.
My vice, Hon. Mrs. Ajayi Fumilayo and I are committed to running an open-door administration, where every citizen’s voice is heard and valued. We are open to correction and willing to learn from our citizens to ensure that our government is truly of the people, by the people, and for the people.
We believe that democracy and good governance are essential for the development and growth of our local government. We pledge to be transparent and accountable in all our dealings, ensuring that the resources entrusted to us are utilized efficiently and effectively for the benefit of all citizens in Ilesa west and beyond.
