The Akire of Ikire land in Irewole local government area of Osun, Oba Olatunde Falabi has joined his ancestors.
Multiple sources in the community said the monarch passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2026.
However, the circumstances surrounding his death is yet to be known as at the time of this report.
Also, there has not been an official statement on the death of the monarch.
Oba Falabi was, before ascending the throne, a practising and renowned pharmacist, entrepreneur, and farmer.
He was Chairman, Board of Trustees of Oba Falabi Foundation, CEO of Oba Falabi (Nig.) Ltd, and former Commercial Manager, Roche Nigeria Limited Lagos.
