It was absolutely a day filled with satisfaction and pleasure as Daspoort Secondary School Students in their large number arouse for joy as they enjoyed a Non-Governmental Organization empowerment from TM Foundation.
TM foundation is a Non-Governmental Organization with her head office in Pretoria, South Africa, Lagos and Ogun State Nigeria respectively, with the aim of helping the less privileged, shaping the future of our upcoming generation (youth) empowering and supporting the oldies in sustainability (feeding), clothing and financial empowerment.
The duo took it upon themselves to take the gospel of hygiene, menstrual health and sex education to the high school in Pretoria, South Africa, Daspoort Secondary School where they had a chatting session with the pupils, enlightened them on how to take precautions on their health status, highlighting the disadvantage and effect caused in unprotected sexual intercourse and how to prevent against seen and unseen diseases while in menstrual period.
During the educative and interactive session with the TM foundation team addressed by Mrs. Smangele, the high school students were able to disclose some deeper secret with the speaker, ask questions, share experiences, put down some key points and requested for contact information for proper follow up of their well-being.
As she rounded up the session, the students showered her a huge appraisal and felt so much relief from sexual slavery, menstrual bondage and cleanliness towards their safety.
The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of TM foundation, Mr. Olatunde Lawal alongside with the member of the team Mr. Makwa Emmanuel presented the sanitary pads to Daspoort Secondary School students, received on behalf of their teacher for the wellness of the students and prevention of menstrual illness from seen and unseen diseases flying around our environment.
The representative of Daspoort Secondary School, Pretoria, South Africa appreciate the Chairman of TM foundation and the team members for their kind gesture, stating that not everyone that are wealthy and financially buoyant has a given heart as him, in her remarks, she described giving as a gift from God, as she implore the well doing men and women across the globe to support this vision and atlease reach out to one or two people per day inorder to make this world a better place for all.
She therefore rained a word of prayer on Mr. Olatunde Lawal and the entire member of TM foundation in South Africa and beyond.
The Chairman of TM foundation, Mr. Olatunde Lawal therefore revealed the secret behind his generosity act, saying that what gives him joy the most is helping the needy, lifting up the weak, empowering the less privilege and providing for the poor in every aspect he can.
Noting that is not that he has more than enough or more than everyone, but he believes that you don’t need to have everything before you help people, but the little you have is enough to take someone from his/her previous position to another chapter in life.
As he send out a clarion call to the merciful men, women, young and old out there to take up this cause of helping and lifting others as a necessity and not probability, He noted.
